On April 1st, we issued a press release, entitled Intego Is the First Software Company to Introduce Organically-Grown Edible Packaging. For the most part, people reading that release saw the date and, well, figured out pretty quickly that it was a joke. But not everyone did.

It turns out that Tech Bucket Blog was convinced by our verbiage. So much so, that,

we went out to local Mac retailer to look. We sent 3 different folks to 3 different stores. Upon finding the Intego software, sans “eat me!” label, our Editors proceeded to ask when such packaging will be available.

Naturally, the looks they got quickly confirmed that they had fallen for our little joke. We’d like to apologize, but we promise that next year will try and do better.
