If you’re a Mac fan, you’ve probably always wanted to see the London MacExpo from inside: from behind the tables and in the booths, working hand in hand with the exhibitors. Well, here’s your chance.

Intego, the leader in Macintosh Internet Security software, is looking for a couple of Mac fans to work at our booth for the 2007 London MacLive Expo, which will be held at the the National Hall, Olympia, Kensington in London, from October 25-27, 2006. 

We are seeking candidates with Mac OS X backgrounds, who have a good knowledge of  Mac OS X software, and who like to show others how things work. You’ll need to be hard working, friendly and patient. Familiarity with Intego software is a plus.

We are seeking several people for our booth:

Hosts/Hostesses will help encourage customers to visit the Intego booth, will direct the customers to the right people on the stand, and distribute brochures, as well as other show tasks. You should be friendly, presentable and outgoing.

Demonstrators will help demonstrate Intego software to potential customers. You must be a Mac expert, with strong knowledge of Mac OS X and experience working with a variety of software and explaining it to others. You will be expected to conduct demonstrations of all of Intego’s software to potential customers in the booth. We are looking for four demonstrators.

Salespeople will assist in direct sales of Intego applications to customers.  This will include everything from providing product information, entering sales data, and possibly explaining features as well. You should have at least a basic knowledge of how to operate on a Mac, and be friendly and outgoing. We are looking for two salespeople.

Those chosen will receive training materials and have the ability to review Intego software and ask questions to qualified Intego staff in a half-day training session in preparation for the event. In addition to their compensation, chosen people will also receive a complete set of Intego software, plus an Intego t-shirt for each day of the expo.

You will be expected to work the entire day of the event (see the schedule below).  You will receive an hourly salary.  We will not cover any expenses for travel or hotel, so only locally-based candidates will be considered.

9:45 am to 7:00 pm (includes one hour for packing material)
