Adobe released a security update last week for Adobe Reader and Acrobat, fixing some critical issues that are being exploited in the wild. However, it turns out that Adobe’s fix was not enough. Adobe is aware of the issue and will be issuing an update to the update soon.

Note that this flaw doesn’t seem to affect Macs; it is an issue with files containing the .exe extension, which are Windows-only. Nevertheless, there may be another Reader and Acrobat update anyway, to deal with other issues that may not have been fully corrected.
