This is now possible for Casper Suite administrators using scripts available through JAMF Software’s Casper Suite Resource Kit.

To extend VirusBarrier X5 integration, JAMF Software has built scripts to automate initial deployment and ongoing maintenance:
1) Deployment of VirusBarrier X5 with Caper Suite: Casper can deploy and install VirusBarrier X5 on client machines.
2) Virus Definition Reporting: With the purchase of VirusBarrier X5 comes access to virus definition updates. A Casper Suite Resource Kit script can help identify what virus definitions are installed on each Mac that has Intego VirusBarrier X5 installed. Thus, the Casper Suite can seek out a client machine, poll it and report to the JAMF Software Server(JSS), ensuring an updated inventory of that computer.
3) Force a Malware Scan: The Casper Suite can force a scan on all clients. Using the policy engine included in the Casper Suite, along with a VirusBarrier-specific script provided in the Resource Kit, a scan can be triggered immediately, or by an event initiated by the client, such as a user login, logout, or a computer startup. This is helpful for scenarios in which a new virus is suspected and an enterprise IT department wishes to immediately scan all computers.
