Yesterday the world was abuzz with Apple’s release of a new operating system: macOS High Sierra 10.13. At Intego, we build our software from the ground up for macOS, and we’ve been doing it that way since 1997. There’s simply no substitute for Mac expertise.

macOS High Sierra is now available for public download, and we want our customers to know we’ve got your covered. In conjunction with the release of macOS 10.13, we have updated all of our products — X6 and X9 software versions — to ensure optimism compatibility with Apple’s new operating system.

What are the new versions of Intego software?

The following product versions are fully compatible with macOS High Sierra:

All of Intego’s software are now fully optimized for macOS 10.13 and won’t slow down your Mac. If you plan to upgrade your Mac to Apple’s new High Sierra operating system, we recommend you take the following steps to stay protected.

Before upgrading to macOS High Sierra

1. Update your Intego software. Updating is easy and free using NetUpdate. You can launch NetUpdate either from the Intego menu in your menu bar or from the System Preferences application. There you’ll find the necessary updates for all your Intego software. Need help updating your software? Learn how to update here.
2. Back up your Mac. Just as important as updating your Intego software, you should back up your Mac before upgrading to macOS High Sierra. Make a full close of your startup disk and back up any other volumes you have using Intego Personal Backup (included with Mac Premium Bundle), which will ensure your data is safe in case anything goes wrong.

We cannot stress enough the importance of backing up your Mac before upgrading to macOS High Sierra.
