Huge Security Update for Mac OS X

Posted on by

Apple has released a huge security update for Mac OS X, included in its 10.5.5 update for Leopard, and available separately for Mac OS X 10.4. The update patches 26 different areas of Mac OS X, in its client and server versions, with fixes to Time Machine, QuickDraw Manager, OpenSSH, Login Window, Finder and much more. The updates are available via Software Update, or from Apple’s Downloads page. Updaters range in size from 68 to 729 MB.

This update finally fixes the months-old DNS vulnerability that we have written about many times.
