Adobe has released security updates for its Reader and Acrobat software, patching four vulnerabilities “that could cause the application to crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.” The new versions of Adobe Reader and Acrobat for Mac are 10.1.3, and for users who cannot use version 10 of these programs, Adobe has released versions 9.5.1.
Users can check for updates in the programs, by choosing Help > Check for Updates. You can also download Adobe Reader here.
