Joshua Long is Intego’s Chief Security Analyst. Josh is a renowned security researcher and writer, and an award-winning public speaker, with more than 25 years of experience battling cyber threats. He has a master’s degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Internet Security.
Josh conducts original research into a variety of cybersecurity topics, and is a regularly featured public speaker at international cybersecurity and tech conferences. Apple has publicly acknowledged Josh for discovering an Apple ID password validation vulnerability. Josh’s security research is often featured by major tech and mainstream news outlets worldwide.
For more than 350 episodes spanning more than six years, Josh has co-hosted the Intego Mac Podcast, a weekly news program, with veteran Mac journalist Kirk McElhearn. Josh also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Intego’s The Mac Security Blog, the world’s leading Apple security news site.
