Adobe Finally Issues Free Security Updates to Photoshop and Illustrator
Posted on by Peter James
Last month, Adobe announced that the company was issuing security updates for programs that are part of its Creative Suite; but that these patches were only available as part of paid upgrades. Consumers and security specialists criticized Adobe for this policy, and the company changed its tune two days later.
The free updates are now available; a month after the paid versions. Users of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS5 can get these updates from Adobe. The Illustrator update is available here, and the Photoshop update is available here.
